Study public relations at Universities in Scotland and Sweden
This new programme offers you the opportunity to gain an MSc in Strategic Public Relations with a European and international perspective. Not only will it provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to practise public relations across European borders but also with the opportunity to study at two different universities, Lund University in Sweden and the University of Stirling, both of which have an excellent reputation for Public Relations education. This programme is the English version of the Master’s in European Public Relations (MARPE), an official European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA) project .
It offers a hands-on approach while at the same time providing you with the theoretical foundations necessary to practise public relations at a managerial level. This interdisciplinary programme is taught by established academics and practitioners and you will also have the opportunity to attend lectures by guest speakers from all over Europe and beyond.
It is taught completely in English and you have the option of obtaining a double MSc degree from the University of Stirling and Lund University or just a single MSc award from the University of Stirling.
Previous graduates of the Department of Film, Media and Journalism’s Masters level courses in public relations have successfully established careers in the public relations field, either in consultancies or in-house. This new programme enhances your opportunities to work internationally in the public and private sectors.
